When Nell Channing arrives on charming Three Sisters Island, she believes that she's finally found refuge from her abusive husband - and from the terrifying life she fled so desperately eight months ago . . . But even in this quiet, peaceful place, Nell never feels entirely at ease. Careful to conceal her true identity, she takes a job as a cook at the local bookstore café - and begins to explore her feelings for the island sheriff, Zack Todd. But there is a part of herself she can never reveal to him - for she must continue to guard her secrets if she wants to keep the past at bay. One careless word, one misplaced confidence, and the new life she's so carefully created could shatter completely. Just as Nell starts to wonder if she'll ever be able to break free of her fear, she realizes that the island suffers from a terrible curse - one that can only be broken by the descendants of the Three Sisters, the witches who settled the island back in 1692. And now, with the help of two other strong, gifted women - and the nightmares of the past haunting her every step - she must find the power to save her home, her love . . . and herself . . .

I stumbled upon this book and the series. Great paranormal romance. It can't wait for the next audio book in the series, Heaven and Earth and then Face the Fire. The Characters of Nell and Zack are wonderful!

This was a wonderful book to listen too. I can't wait to hear the next two books.

This book was a big disappointment , It was more about witches then it was a story line , I usually like Nora Roberts books but this was not one of them!

Not one of Norah Roberts best. Normally I really enjoy her work as Nora Roberts and J D Robb but found this too light and somehow not quite believable. shan't bother with the two sequels

Very enjoyable - keep you wanting to hear more. Nora Roberts is a great author - this piece is her usual enjoyable work.

Good story- parts of it I ignored because of the witches. Didn't have too much to do with the story. More about the power of a women than supernatural powers. The narrator's voice got on my nerves. Overall I'd recommend but maybe keep it toward the bottom of you list.

This book was one of Nora Roberts best trilogy as far as Suspence goes.It was a very intresting book to hear. It really kept your attention, and I didn't want to stop listening until all the books were heard. Nora Roberts is a great writter and really brings it home, which makes you feel that your part of her stories.Try her even if you have other favorites. I think you'll feel the same way I do.

This was my first Nora Roberts novel. I really liked how well she conveyed feelings. I loved the narrators voice. The book is exciting and mysterious all at the same time. I rate 5 stars!

Dance upon the Air is the first novel in Nora Roberts Three Sisters Trilogy, followed by Heaven and Earth, then Face the Fire. Dance upon the Air was a great book - a very easy listen. It has nicely developed characters and a fun story line. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to listen to the next two books in the trilogy.

I haven't read the entire trio yet so I may be jumping the gun but this particular book fell very short of Ms. Roberts usual work. It had a lot of potential...great story, romance, sex and suspense... but everytime I started to feel as if she was going to get into the "meat" of the story she left it and moved on. In the end, there was no "meat". The closest it came was the climax which probably left me hanging worse than any other part of the story. I was very disappointed in this book and I'm still wondering what happened to the kitten and what became of the abusive hubby. Did he spend time in jail? Was he admitted to a mental institution...what? Okay, maybe it was me. Maybe I missed something but I don't think so and I'm resentful about it because I feel as if I've been shorted. Ms. Roberts usually does such a good job. Perhaps she is deliberately vague so she can pick it up in the next book. We'll see.
